Hometown: Vancouver, Washington

Best race memory: 2005 was my first trip to elite track nationals. I made it through the match sprint tournament to the bronze medal round. All rides in the top 4 places are the best of 3 rides. I lost my first ride. I took all of my patients and wits to come back and win the next 2 rides to earn the bronze medal. In 2009 at master's track nationals, I was 1 of only 3 competitors in each of my 2 individual events. Although, I won each, I wasn't too excited, since I didn't feel that I had to fight for it. Later in the week,  I joined forces with another rider for the team sprint. There were 6 teams, which included some partnerships of some fast ladies. Kim and I were the last ride against the team we beat... by .2 seconds. It was pretty awesome.

Interests: My dog, learning, recent interest in cooking

Favorite Music: Depends on the mood. I really listen to everything that had a beat, a tune, and words I can understand (no death metal, please) My ipod warm up is a mix of rap, hip hop, and rock.

Favorite Food: Just one? Sushi pops in my head first, but I live a lot of ethnic foods

Favorite Movies: Junkie for the romatic drama (ugh)

Favorite Books: I'm not a reader. Still working on finishing the Twilight Series!

Favorite Quotations: "If you think you can or you think you can't... you're right" Henry Ford" Never underestimate the power of your words." -unknown

Something people don't know about me: I sung a lot of solos in spring music concerts growing up
